The Field Gallery on Martha's Vineyard is exhibiting selected images from my New England Coast work. The Gallery 440 in Savannah is exhibiting images from my Georgia Coast work as well as selections from my new black-and-white project: Edisto Island - Memories of Botany Bay Plantation.
March 2009
In March 2009 Cape Cod Magazine published selected images from my Vineyard Lighthouse Interiors series. Some of the images were seen in the Field Gallery's show in August 2008. Other images have not been shown before. Also the March issue's cover featured my Tarpaulin Cove Lighthouse exterior shot.

November 2008
The Telfair Museum Of Art in Savannah selected my work to be exhibited as part of its annual Art Fair.
November - December 2008
St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts exhibited in its campus gallery my Four Churches And A Synagogue series. I addressed a group of art students on the topic of photographing architecture and sacred spaces.

During the last two weeks of the month, the West Chop Club showed a selection of my new work.

The Dragonfly Gallery on Martha's Vineyard exhibited selected new images from my Nightscapes series. The show opened on May 22, with a reception on May 24.

Cape Cod Life Magazine ran an article about some of my recent work along with an interview and some biographical information.

I travelled to the Mpumalanga region of South Africa to photograph the work of Emoyeni, a Massachusetts based relief organization that serves the needs of at risk children in schools, orphanages and in the home.

An article about my work appeared in Cape Cod Magazine.
February 2008
Frederic C. Beil Publishing released the book "Wassaw Sound" by author William C. Harris. The book’s cover features my image "Moon In The Afternoon". The book was released on February 2nd at the Savannah Book Festival.

The release of the book "Chogetsu - Images Of An Idyll".

I released a book of photographs of the stained glass windows at St. John's Church, Savannah. The books will be sold to help fund the church's outreach and mission work.
September 2007
I photographed the chapel at St. Mark's School in Southborough as part of my ongoing project to capture images of sacred spaces.
I shot the interior, exterior and surrounding grounds of "Chogetsu" a Japanese house in the Seven Gates area of Martha's Vineyard. The house, outbuildings and gardens were designed in the 1970's by the world renowned potter and ceramicist Teruo Hara. Mr. Hara was also a master architect and builder. The images were published in a book that was released in late November.
August 2007
Red Warrior records of Atlanta released a new CD by the up and coming country/pop singer Tiffany Milagro. Red Warrior used my image Monterey Square Camellias for the CD’s front cover.
May 2007
I produced a one hundred page book of photographs that depict the work of our Faith In Practice medical team. The book is available in either hardcover or softcover.
February 2007
I traveled back to the Panza Verde region of Guatemala as staff photographer for Faith In Practice - a Houston based organization that sends teams of doctors, dentists and medical technicians to treat the poor in the town of Antigua and the surrounding countryside.

Gallery 440 at 440 Bull Street Savannah exhibited, "A Closer Look: Four Churches and a Synagogue." The work was a collection of photographic ruminations on the exterior and interior architecture of five historic houses of worship in downtown Savannah. Proceeds from sales benefited the Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy. |
